We will start this virtual tour near the Jaffa Gate and talk about the great Suleiman Walls built in 1542. We will then go through the Jaffa Gate (1 of 8 gates) while discussing the method used to build these walls. To get a better understanding, you can see the architectural tombs of the wall and learn about the legends around these tombs. We will continue walking to the King David Tower on our way to the main street from the Byzantine time – Cardo. While walking in the Armenian quarters, we will talk about life in the Old City today. We will pass by the Armenian Church, see the architecture of the Armenian Quarters and reach the Western Wall. Here we will talk about Judaism and how people from different communities gather to pray. Finally, we will walk through the David Market to reach the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
