One such option is a tour that leaves at 6:30 AM from Tel Aviv and actually begins in Jerusalem. The walking tour lasts a little over three hours and beyond it you can continue for free time at the David Tower complex.<\/p>\n

On a tour marketed by Tiqets and conducted by a local and well-known tour company, participants will be able to discover the different quarters of the Old City like the Jewish, Christian, Armenian and Muslim Quarters and of course learn about the history of these places. A visit to the Western Wall is also guaranteed on the trip, as well as entering the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, place of crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Jesus according to most Christian traditions.<\/p>\n

The tour lasts only three hours but during this time you can discover 3,000 years of Jerusalem history and this is also thanks to the visit to the David Tower which serves as a museum. In it, models and multimedia sections are shown to help you become familiar with the maze of history. Besides the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, travelers will also be able to trace the last four stations of the Via Dolorosa.<\/p>\n

Tickets can be purchased by phone<\/a> and will be provided promptly. The tour will be conducted in English. Entry price is 45 euros ($ 51) and this includes admission to the Tower of David, pick-up from Tel Aviv, but does not include returning there. You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance.<\/p>\n
