Which one should you choose? We sorted out and classified for you some of the most popular tickets offered by various companies but first, here are some general and important tips before you visit the Colosseum:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"bs-shortcode-list list-style-check wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Children up to the age of 18 are free.<\/li>\r\n<li>We recommend avoiding the first Sunday of the month.<\/li>\r\n<li>Like in the Vatican, the Colosseum offers an open ticket or a specific window of time. The second option is preferable (a certain time window). Open tickets allow entry to the Colosseum just after 2 p.m.<\/li>\r\n<li>Time window for child tickets (which are free) cannot be booked. The tickets must be collected at the regular checkout after showing a certificate proving the age of the child, which means again, queues. The only way to avoid a queue is to purchase adult cards for children as well. Sure, not saving money, but should save time.<\/li>\r\n<li>There is a new entrance to the Colosseum called Stern, allowing access to the arena floor. In the past, the arena was only open to groups, while individuals with a private guide could also enter. If your tour offers a sign-in from there, see this as a recommendation.<\/li>\r\n<li>The underground floor and upper levels are usually reserved for VIP tours or special group tours. There is no skipping the security check.
