We went out to check what tourists think of the Bereshit Hotel in Mitzpeh Ramon, Israel. We will say that the hotel receives very high grades according to more than 1,000 reviews left by travelers on the Booking.com site. Two winning categories are comfort and cleanliness (almost a maximum score) but the facilities, staff and especially the location are given record scores. T
Among the reviews we found was that of Rafi who lives in the United States and apparently went to Israel for a family visit. He wrote that the perfect location of the hotel right in the middle of the Negev and the Mitzpeh Ramon was great, he also liked the view from the restaurants and the lobby and the fact that the rooms are nice and each has a balcony. When asked what he did not like at the hotel he wrote, “Nothing.”
Another traveler named Trevor wrote that the location of the hotel that allows the wildlife to reach right up to the door is no less than amazing and that the rooms were excellent. At the same time, he pointed out that the service at breakfast was a bit slow for his taste and that it was somewhat crowded in the evening. The pool for children was not completely clean, he added.
A traveler from Spain left an opinion that everything in this hotel was excellent. The location is great, the rooms are spacious and well decorated. “Our room,” he wrote, “floats right into the observatory.” The food was also very good for his taste, a unique breakfast and very attentive service. It is nice to read such reviews especially if you are a hotel employee or owner. He, too, wrote that nothing needed improvement.
Samuel from Britain wrote that this is a fantastic hotel and that he would recommend anyone who travels to Israel to stay there. He wondered, however, why the hotel required up front payment for everything.
A traveler from Belgium wrote that everything was perfect, “The rooms are clean and comfortable, the sights are beautiful, the breakfast is wonderful … everything is just great.” He did choose to note that the check-in process could have been a little more efficient, as was the issue of parking and unpacking of luggage.
A traveler from Germany praised the design and the beautiful hotel but chose to remark that the staff in his opinion was inexperienced and uncoordinated. He also chose to note that the massage at the spa was excellent but that the showers were too small and had low maintenance.
An Israeli traveler named Betty who was staying at the hotel wrote that this is one of the most beautiful hotels in the world in general. “We recommend asking for a room with a private pool,” she said, adding: “It’s worth every shekel.” The food was very tasty, she thought, the rooms were beautiful, so was the decor, the views and the encounter with the local wildlife. “The ibexes,” wrote the visitor from Israel, “are everywhere in the hotel area.”
A visitor from Australia wrote briefly that the views and location of the hotel are winning but the choice of food is average and the room is too expensive.
The location is excellent, the room is fantastic with great views, the food is of a high standard … I get back there for sure. The staff at the restaurant is still young and half of them are still training.
Samuel from Britain wrote that this is a fantastic hotel and that he would recommend anyone who travels to Israel to stay there. He wondered, however, why the hotel required prepayment for everything.
A critic named Helen praised the hotel’s fragrances, the food and the restaurant service as well as the views. She even liked the towels and robes. It bothered her that there was no ice machine in the hotel,
A traveler from Brazil also wrote that the hotel is beautiful. “When you get there, you can not remain indifferent to the landscape and the loveliness that surrounds the hotel.” On the other hand, she commented on the food, “From a hotel like this, I expect a lot more.”
A traveler from Belgium summed up his experience at the hotel: “The location is excellent, the room is fantastic with great views, high standard food.” But added, “The staff at the restaurant is still young and half of them are still training, all of them are trying very hard but the five-star hotel that takes such prices should be more professional when it comes to choosing staff.”
Finally Irina from Russia wrote that this is an exceptional hotel in a great location, a very tasty dinner and good service. She concludes: “Nothing requires improvement.”
